Fire & Life Safety Systems Inspection Schedule
Fire and life safety systems are critical components of all buildings, and it's imperative that they're correctly maintained so they work in the case of an emergency. To provide a high level of protection, fire and life safety systems need to be inspected per the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code inspection schedule by trained professionals.
Inspections are designed to help identify problems—or deficiencies—with systems so that they can be fixed before an emergency. Without the inspections, the deficiencies may stay hidden and not be addressed.
At PSI, our factory-trained and NICET-certified technicians provide comprehensive fire and life safety services—monitoring, testing and inspecting, system maintenance, installations, and code compliance consultations—all under one agreement. Contact us today to schedule your free consultation.
Inspection schedules vary for each fire and life safety system. They can range from daily and monthly to annual and 5-year cycles. Let’s take a look at the NFPA codes and the service timeline for each life safety system.
